Professional violinist, Neil Puzon, has been teaching strings for over 20 years and is an active
member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA). As an educator of all ages and skill sets, he can proudly say that his students have played in Charles County All-County Orchestra, Tri-County Orchestra as well as the Maryland Senior All-State Orchestra.
Neil is also qualified to provide training to students seeking to take the ASTA Certificate Program.His students have gone on to successfully audition for Music Conservatories and Music schools while receiving superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble festivals at both the district and state levels.
Neil Puzon studied Violin at Wilmington Academy of Music in Wilmington, NC with Nancy
McAllister and with violinist, Teri Lazar of American University.
He studied violin with Joseph Esmilla at the University of Maryland and chamber music with Evelyn Elsing. Neil has also performed with various symphonies (including his own St.Charles
String Quartet) at several notable venues including The Kennedy Center, Howard
University, George Mason University, and George Washington University.
